Born in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, the Valley Hope Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit established to provide humanitarian disaster relief.

Galvanized by compassion and Faith, The Valley Hope Foundation provides Unity, Relief and Recovery - equipping neighbors to rebuild stronger, together, and helping families find hope in hardship.

Immediate Disaster Relief

Valley Hope Foundation’s First Light Response program activates the moment disaster hits —mobilizing trucks, supplies, and teams through our regional logistics network. Working in unison with government and community partners, we ensure vital relief reaches families within hours, not days. From post-storm welfare checks to the delivery of emergency food, water, and medical essentials, we bring hope where it’s needed most.

Aid & Food Distribution

Through our Nourish WNC program, Valley Hope Foundation distributes nutritious food and essential relief supplies to thousands of families each month. Working with our partners and volunteers, we reach deep into communities across Western North Carolina — bridging gaps in food access and bringing tangible relief where it matters most. In September 2025, we provided fresh, nutritious food to more than 40,300 people, strengthening families and communities alike.

Long-Term Recovery

Through Foundations of Hope, Valley Hope Foundation rebuilds pathways to stability for families recovering from humanitarian disaster. Working alongside cherished volunteers and partners, we’ve cleared hundreds of tons of storm debris, safely removed 28 storm-damaged homes, and repaired 14 houses, allowing families to return home. Together, we’re restoring neighborhoods, strengthening communities, and laying the groundwork for brighter days ahead.
